Section 38-3-23 Election and term of chair; appointment of secretary. The members of the hall of fame shall elect among themselves a chair and shall fix the term of office of the chair. The chair shall preside over meetings, direct the business of the hall of fame, and perform other duties as may be prescribed or delegated to the chair by the organization. The members shall appoint one of their number as secretary, who shall keep minutes of each meeting. Section 45-28-220.02 Etowah County Sports Hall of Fame. (a) In Etowah County, there is hereby created the Etowah County Sports Hall of Fame Committee. The Etowah County Sports Hall of Fame Committee shall have full authority to direct, supervise, manage, and control all matters and affairs pertaining to the Etowah County Sports Hall of Fame which is hereby established. (b) The Etowah County Sports Hall of Fame shall be operated as a nonprofit organization.
