Section 16-28-16 Cases of nonenrollment and nonattendance; withdrawal of enrollment. (a) It
shall be the duty of the county superintendent of education or the city superintendent of
education, as the case may be, to require the attendance officer to investigate all cases
of nonenrollment and of nonattendance. In all cases investigated where no valid reason for
nonenrollment or nonattendance is found, the attendance officer shall give written notice
to the parent, guardian, or other person having control of the child. In the event of the
absence of the parent, guardian, or other person having control of the child from his or her
usual place of residence, the attendance officer shall leave a copy of the notice with some
person over 12 years of age residing at the usual place of residence, with instructions to

Section 22-17B-2 Restrictions on use of tanning devices. The use of a tanning device at a tanning
facility in this state is subject to the following restrictions: (1) No person 16 or 17 years
of age shall use a tanning device unless a parent or legal guardian provides written consent

licensed child-placing agency, parent, child, or any interested person may file a petition

Section 13A-6-45 Interference with custody. (a) A person commits the crime of interference
with custody if he knowingly takes or entices: (1) Any child under the age of 18 from the
lawful custody of its parent, guardian or other lawful custodian, or (2) Any committed person
from the lawful custody of its parent, guardian or other lawful custodian. "Committed
person" means, in addition to anyone committed under judicial warrant, any neglected,
dependent or delinquent child, mentally defective or insane person or any other incompetent
person entrusted to another's custody by authority of law. (b) A person does not commit a

Section 30-3-151 Definitions. For the purposes of this article the following words shall have
the following meanings: (1) JOINT CUSTODY. Joint legal custody and joint physical custody.
(2) JOINT LEGAL CUSTODY. Both parents have equal rights and responsibilities for major decisions

Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing Board Fund. (a) The Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing
