Section 25-14-10 Professional Employer Organization Registration Administrative Trust Fund. (a) There is established in the State Treasury a fund entitled the Professional Employer Organization Registration Administrative Trust Fund. Fees and assessments provided by this chapter collected by the department shall be deposited in the fund. The fund shall constitute a separate fund to be disbursed by the state Comptroller on order of the secretary. All expenses incurred by the department under this chapter, including the salaries of all employees, travel costs, and any other cost of administration and enforcement as may become necessary, either within or without the state, shall be paid from the separate fund in the State Treasury upon warrants of the state Comptroller drawn upon the State Treasury from time to time when vouchers therefor are approved by the secretary. Section 32-6-350 Legislative intent. (a) It is the intent of the Legislature to establish an Alabama Veteran Tag Program to recognize certain veterans. (b) The owner of a motor vehicle who is a resident of this state and who is an eligible veteran pursuant to subsection (c) of this section may be issued a distinctive license tag pursuant to this division. The veteran shall make application to the judge of probate or commissioner of licenses, comply with state motor vehicle laws relating to registration and licensing of motor vehicles, pay the regular license fee for a tag as provided by law for a private passenger or pleasure motor vehicle, and pay an additional fee of three dollars ($3) for the initial issuance of the tag except a Vietnam veteran's tag. Section 8-32-3 Requirements for selling or offering to sell service contracts. (a) Either the provider or its designee shall: (1) Provide a receipt for, or other written evidence of, the purchase of the service contract to the contract holder. (2) Provide a copy of the service contract to the service contract holder within a reasonable period of time from the date of purchase. (b) A provider may, but is not required to, appoint an administrator or other designee to be responsible for any or all of the administration of service contracts and compliance with this chapter.
