Section 31-13-3 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have
the following meanings: (1) ALIEN. Any person who is not a citizen or national of the United
States, as described in 8 U.S.C. § 1101, et seq., and any amendments thereto. (2) BUSINESS
ENTITY. Any person or group of persons employing one or more persons performing or engaging
in any activity, enterprise, profession, or occupation for gain, benefit, advantage, or livelihood,
whether for profit or not for profit. Business entity shall include, but not be limited to,
the following: a. Self-employed individuals, business entities filing articles of incorporation,
partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, foreign corporations, foreign
limited partnerships, foreign limited liability companies authorized to transact business
in this state, business trusts, and any business entity that registers with the Secretary

Section 31-14-3 Creation; composition; meetings; compensation; powers and duties. (a) There
is created the Alabama Job Creation and Military Stability Commission. Members of the commission

Section 32-8-2 Definitions. For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms shall have
the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly
indicates a different meaning: (1) CURRENT ADDRESS. A new address different from the address

Section 34-1A-5 Licenses - Issuance; fees; suspension or revocation; nonresident license; display;
written service contracts; confidential information. (a) The board shall issue licenses authorized
by this chapter to all qualified individuals in accordance with rules or regulations established
by the board. (b)(1) Effective beginning January 1, 2014, the license fee for a two-year period
as set by the board shall not exceed three hundred dollars ($300) for an individual and one

Section 36-27-28 Exemption from execution; recovery actions. (a) Except as provided in subsection
(b), the right of a person to a pension, an annuity, a retirement allowance or to the return
of contributions, the pension, annuity or retirement allowance itself and any optional benefit
or any other right accrued or accruing to any person under the provisions of this article
and the monies in the various funds created by this chapter are hereby exempt from any state
