Section 38-10-30 Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) CHILD. A minor or disabled child. (2) CUSTODY. A legal status created by court order. (3) DEPARTMENT. The Department of Human Resources of the State of Alabama, including the state and county departments of human resources. (4) FOSTER CARE.
