Section 37-8-54 Operations in proximity to high voltage overhead conductors of electricity
- Exemptions. The provisions of Sections 37-8-52 through 37-8-55 shall not apply to: (1) The
construction, reconstruction, operation or maintenance of any overhead conductor or its supporting
structures, appurtenances and associated equipment by persons authorized by the owner; (2)
The operation of standard railway equipment which is normally used in the transportation of
freight or passengers, or the operation of relief trains or other emergency railroad equipment

Section 23-1-352 Definitions. For the purpose of the laws of this state relating to aeronautics,
the following words, terms, and phrases shall have the meanings herein given, unless otherwise

Section 39-2-1 Definitions. As used in this title, the following words shall have the meanings
ascribed to them as follows: (1) AWARDING AUTHORITY. Any governmental board, commission, agency,

Section 33-17-9 Contracts. The aggregate monetary obligation that the authority may incur in
connection with its contracts shall not at any time exceed the sum of (1) Any uncommitted
or unencumbered moneys then appropriated to the authority by the Legislature, and (2) Any
uncommitted or unencumbered proceeds of bonds available or to become available from bonds
then authorized by the authority and approved by the Governor pursuant to Section 33-17-12.
No contract involving the expenditure of money, whether now or later, shall be approved or

include a determination that there will be compliance with the preceding limitation when the
