(a) The Securities Commission shall consist of the Attorney General of Alabama, the State
Superintendent of Banks, the State Superintendent of Insurance and four other members appointed
by the Governor by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. Two appointed members shall
be members of the Alabama Bar Association appointed from a list of three nominees for each
position submitted by the bar association, and the other two appointed members shall be certified
public accountants appointed from a list of three nominees for each position submitted by

employees, etc.; interests held by members, employees, etc., in land, materials, or contracts

Section 45-37-90.04 Civic Center Authority - Powers; officers; contracts; conflicts of interest.
(a) The power of the authority shall be vested in and exercised by a majority of the members
of the board of directors. The board may delegate to one or more of its members or its officers,
agents, and employees such duties as it may deem proper. The board of directors shall elect
a vice chair of the board, who shall serve as chair in the event of the chair's absence. The
board of directors shall also elect a treasurer and a secretary. The same person may serve
as secretary and treasurer. The secretary and treasurer may or may not be a member of the

composed of five members, each of whom shall be a fair, equitable citizen of this state and
