Section 33-17-6 Members, officers and directors; records of proceedings. The applicants named in the application and their respective successors in office shall constitute the members of the authority. The Governor shall be the president of the authority, the Lieutenant Governor shall be its vice-president, and the Director of Finance shall be its secretary. The State Treasurer shall be the treasurer of the authority and shall act as custodian of its funds, but he shall not be a member of the authority. The members of the authority shall constitute all the members of the board of directors of the authority, and any four members of the board of directors shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. Should any person holding any state office named in this section cease to hold office by reason of death, resignation of his term of office, or for any other reason, then his successor in office shall take his place as a member and officer of the authority. Any credit union, with the approval of the Administrator of the Alabama Credit Union Administration, may merge with another credit union, under the existing certificate of organization of the other credit union, pursuant to any plan agreed upon by the majority of each board of directors of each credit union joining in the merger.
