Section 37-8-148 Procuring railroad cars without bona fide intention for use. Any person, firm, company or corporation who shall make application to any common carrier by rail for, and shall procure from such common carrier any number of cars without a bona fide intention to use the same for the transportation of freight, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined not less than $500.00 nor more than $5,000.00 for each offense.
