Section 26-1A-102 Definitions. In this chapter: (1) "Agent" means a person granted
authority to act for a principal under a power of attorney, whether denominated an agent,
attorney-in-fact, or otherwise. The term includes an original agent, co-agent, successor agent,
and a person to which an agent's authority is delegated. (2) "Durable," with respect
to a power of attorney, means not terminated by the principal's incapacity. (3) "Electronic"
means relating to technology having electrical, digital, magnetic, wireless, optical, electromagnetic,
or similar capabilities. (4) "Good faith" means honesty in fact. (5) "Incapacity"

Section 30-3-170 Definitions. When used in this article, the following words shall have the
following meanings: (1) COURT. A court of competent jurisdiction or administrative agency
having the authority to issue and enforce support orders. (2) DELINQUENT or DELINQUENCY. A
support debt or support obligation due and unpaid in an amount equal to or greater than six
months support payments as of the date of service of a notice of intent to suspend or revoke
a license. (3) DEPARTMENT. The Alabama Department of Human Resources, including the county

Section 34-14B-3 Application for licensure. (a) An applicant for licensure as a home inspector
shall submit an application, under oath, upon a form to be prescribed by the Building Commission

Section 9-8-20 Definitions. Wherever used or referred to in this article, unless a different
meaning clearly appears from the context: (1) DISTRICT or SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT.

shall perform all duties relative to the assessment and collection of taxes on motor vehicles,

Section 5-26-3 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply:
(1) DEPOSITORY INSTITUTION. The term "depository institution" has the same meaning
