Section 34-1-12 Suspension, revocation, etc., of certificate, registration, or permit; fines. THIS SECTION WAS AMENDED BY ACT 2018-106 IN THE 2018 REGULAR SESSION, EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2018. Section 37-3-13 Contract carrier permits - Generally. (a) No person shall engage in the business of a contract carrier by motor vehicle in intrastate commerce on any highway of this state unless there is in force with respect to such carrier a permit issued by the commission, authorizing such person to engage in such business. The board may revoke or suspend any certificate or registration if obtained through concealment, misstatement, or misrepresentation of any material fact in the application for such certificate.
