Section 11-49B-22 Taxes; exemptions; reporting credit sales; lien security; state sales tax provisions applicable; charge for collecting tax; voting. (a) The authority shall, subject to a referendum in the counties it proposes to serve, levy, in addition to all other taxes, including, but not limited to, municipal gross receipts license taxes, a 1/4 percent privilege license tax against gross sales or gross receipts, provided, however, that the rate of such tax on any person, firm, or corporation engaged in the type of business described in Section 40-23-2(4) shall be an amount equal to 1/32 percent of the gross proceeds from sales described in such section. The gross receipts of any business and the gross proceeds of all sales which are presently exempt under the state sales and use tax statutes are exempt from the tax authorized by this chapter. Section 22-35-3 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, unless otherwise indicated, the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) ABOVEGROUND STORAGE TANK. Any one or combination of stationary tanks affixed permanently to the ground or other support structure (including pipes connected thereto) used to contain an accumulation of motor fuels, the volume of which (including pipes connected thereto) is greater than 90 percent above the surface of the ground. Section 22-7A-1 Physician agreements; dentist agreements. (a) For the purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) DENTIST. A person licensed to practice dentistry in this state. (2) DENTIST AGREEMENT or AGREEMENT. A contract between a dentist and a patient or his or her legal representative in which the dentist or the dentist's medical practice agrees to provide dental services to the patient for an agreed upon fee and period of time. Section 32-10-1 Duties of driver involved in motor vehicle accident; removal of vehicle from roadway. (a) The driver of any motor vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to or the death of any person, or in damage to a motor vehicle or other vehicle which is driven or attended by any person, shall immediately stop such vehicle at the scene of such accident or as close thereto as possible and shall then forthwith return to and in every event shall remain at the scene of the accident until he or she has fulfilled the requirements of Section 32-10-2.
