Section 45-13-120 Compensation; election; oath and bond; office space, equipment; chief clerk; powers and duties; issuance of licenses; disposition of funds. (a)(1) Effective October 1, 1991, there is hereby created the office of commissioner of licenses. The salary of the commissioner of licenses shall be in the amount of thirty-six thousand dollars ($36,000) annually. The annual salary shall be payable in equal biweekly installments from the general funds of the county, as all other county employees are paid. Section 25-4-78 Disqualifications for benefits. An individual shall be disqualified for total or partial unemployment for any of the following: (1) LABOR DISPUTE IN PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. Section 37-2-11 Joint rates. Whenever any transportation company shall refuse or neglect to establish a joint rate or rates for the transportation of persons or property, the commission may, upon notice to such transportation company or companies, and after an opportunity to be heard, as provided in this title, fix and establish such joint rate or rates, and if the transportation companies, parties thereto, shall fail to agree upon apportionment thereof within 20 days after the service of such orders, the commission may, upon like hearing, issue a supplemental order declaring the apportionment of such joint rate or rates, and the same shall take effect of its own force as part of the original order.
