Section 37-3-25 Penalties for violations. (a) Any person knowingly and willfully violating
any provision of this chapter or any rule, regulation, requirement or order thereunder or
any term or condition of any certificate, permit or license for which a penalty is not otherwise
herein provided shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not more than $100.00 for the first
offense and not more than $500.00 for any subsequent offense. Each day of such violation shall
constitute a separate offense. (b) If any motor carrier or broker operates in violation of
any provision of this chapter (except as to the reasonableness of rates, fares or charges
and discriminatory character thereof), or any rule, regulation or requirement, or order thereunder,

Section 27-15-78 Calculations of adjusted premiums by the nonforfeiture net level premium method.
(a) This section shall apply to all policies issued on or after the operative date of this
section as defined herein. Except as provided in subsection (g), the adjusted premiums for
any policy shall be calculated on an annual basis and shall be such uniform percentage of
the respective premiums specified in the policy for each policy year, excluding extra premiums
on a substandard policy and also excluding any uniform annual contract charge or policy fee
specified in the policy in a statement of the method to be used in calculating the cash surrender
values and paid-up nonforfeiture benefits, that the present value, at the date of issue of

Section 37-2-19 Reparation. (a) Where complaint has been made to the commission concerning
any rate or other charge of any transportation company and the commission has found, after
a hearing, that the transportation company has received an excessive or unjustly discriminatory
amount on account of such rate or charge, the commission may order that the transportation
company make due reparation to the complainant therefor, within a time to be designated in
said order, together with interest at the legal rate from the date of receipt of such excessive
or unjustly discriminatory amount. The commission shall also make and file in every case in
which reparation is ordered to be paid a full finding of the material facts upon which the

Section 37-3-10 Certificate of public convenience and necessity - When required; application;
determination by commission. (a) No common carrier by motor vehicle subject to the provisions
of this chapter shall engage in intrastate commerce on any highway in this state unless there
is in force with respect to such carrier a certificate of public convenience and necessity

Section 27-15-8.1 Life insurance policy provisions - Maximum rates of interest on policy loans.
(a) For purposes of this section the "published monthly average" means: (1) The
Monthly Average of the Composite Yield on Seasoned Corporate Bonds as published by Moody's
Investors Service, Inc., or any successor thereto; or (2) In the event that the Monthly Average
of the Composite Yield on Seasoned Corporate Bonds is no longer published, a substantially
