Section 27-54A-2 Treatment under certain policies and contracts. (a) As used in this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS. The design, implementation, and evaluation of environmental modifications, using behavioral stimuli and consequences, to produce socially significant improvement in human behavior, including the use of direct observation, measurement, and functional analysis of the relationship between environment and behavior. (2) AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER. Any of the pervasive developmental disorders or autism spectrum disorders as defined by the most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) or the edition that was in effect at the time of diagnosis. Section 2-8-383 Rulemaking authority; disposition of funds; powers and duties of department. (a) The department may adopt rules in accordance with the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act, as necessary to administer an industrial hemp research program and to license growers to grow industrial hemp pursuant to this article, including rules establishing reasonable fees for licenses, permits, or other necessary expenses to defray the cost of implementing and operating the industrial hemp research program in this state on an ongoing basis. Section 24-10-7 Requirements for eligibility. (a) In order for a proposal to be an activity eligible for support, the following minimum requirements must be met: (1) Beneficiaries of the activity must be individuals or families whose annual income or incomes do not exceed 60 percent of the median family income of a geographic area, as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, with adjustments for smaller and larger families. (a) There is created a statewide 911 Board comprised of 13 members that shall reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. (a) The Legislature finds that the number of students attending the several school systems located in those areas of North Alabama that will be directly impacted by the 2005 BRAC and Subsequent BRAC Actions will collectively increase by an estimated 9,000 students. As a result, there will be a need for the construction of additional school facilities as well as the renovation of existing school facilities.
