Section 11-92C-8 Powers of authority. (a) The authority shall have the following powers, together
with all powers incidental thereto or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate form:
(1) To have succession by its corporate name for the duration of time, which may be in perpetuity,
subject to Section 11-92C-20, specified in its certificate of incorporation. (2) To sue and
be sued in its own name and to prosecute and defend civil actions in any court having jurisdiction
of the subject matter and of the parties; provided that the authority shall be deemed to be

Section 23-1-301 Definitions. When used in this article, the following words and phrases shall

Section 40-12-172 Transient dealers. Each person doing business as a transient dealer as defined
in this section and who does not pay the privilege license under Section 40-12-73 or the license
permit under Section 40-25-19 shall pay an annual license tax to the state of $30. The payment

Section 11-50A-17 Contracts for use of projects; purchase of electric power; payment of charges;

Section 45-37A-41 Removal or demolition of unsafe structures. (a) The City of Bessemer shall
have authority, after notice as provided herein, to move or demolish buildings and structures,
or parts of buildings and structures, party walls, and foundations when the same are found
