Section 36-3-1 Terms of Governor and other executive officers. The Governor, Lieutenant Governor,
Attorney General, Auditor, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Commissioner of Agriculture and
Industries, the President of the Public Service Commission and two associate public service
commissioners shall hold their respective offices for the term of four years from the time
of their installation in office and until their successors shall be elected and qualified,
such installation to take place on the first Monday after the second Tuesday in January next

Section 17-6-81 Fair Ballot Commission; ballot statements. (a)(1) There is created the Fair
Ballot Commission. The purpose of the commission is to provide to the public a fair and accurate
explanation of what a vote for and what a vote against a statewide ballot measure represents.
(2) The commission shall consist of the following 18 members: The Governor, the Lieutenant

Section 11-65-5 Composition of commission; terms; qualifications; removal from office. (a)
Every commission shall have five members, which shall constitute its governing body. All powers
of a commission shall be exercised by its members or pursuant to their authorization. The
mayor or other chief executive officer of the sponsoring municipality and the president or

Section 36-25-3 State Ethics Commission - Creation, composition; annual reports; compensation;
political activities; director; personnel. (a) There is hereby created a State Ethics Commission
composed of five members, each of whom shall be a fair, equitable citizen of this state and
