Section 41-4-354 Permanent Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on the Management of
State-Owned and Leased Real Property. (a) There is created a Permanent Joint Legislative Oversight
Committee on the Management of State-Owned and Leased Real Property. The committee shall consist
of the Lieutenant Governor, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, three members of
the House of Representatives appointed by the Speaker of the House, one of whom shall be a
member of the House minority party, and three members of the Senate appointed by the President
Pro Tempore of the Senate, one of whom shall be a member of the Senate minority party. Each
member of the committee shall receive compensation and expenses pursuant to Amendment 871
of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901. (b) It shall be the duty and function of the committee
to review, analyze, and study the transfer, implementation, and performance of the requirements

Section 16-60-115 Adult Education, State Approving Agency, and Private School Licensure
programs. (a) All powers, duties, responsibilities, and functions of, and all related records,
property, equipment of, and all rights, obligations of, and unexpended balances of appropriations
including federal and other funds or allocations for the fiscal year ending September 30,
2002, of the Adult Education program, the State Approving Agency program, and the Private
School Licensure program for postsecondary proprietary schools of the State Department of

Section 2-4-1 Appointment of State Veterinarian; qualifications; compensation and powers
