Section 11-49A-8 Powers of authority. The authority shall have the following powers, together
with all powers incidental thereto or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate form:
(1) To have succession by its corporate name for the duration of time (which may be perpetual,
subject to the provisions of Section 11-49A-20) specified in its certificate of incorporation;
(2) To sue and be sued in its own name in civil suits and actions and to defend suits against
it; (3) To adopt and make use of a corporate seal and to alter the same at pleasure; (4) To
adopt and alter bylaws for the regulation and conduct of its affairs and business; (5) To

Section 15-22-20 Board of Pardons and Paroles - Creation; composition; compensation. (a) There
shall be a Board of Pardons and Paroles which shall consist of three members. The membership

Section 16-6D-9 Tax credit claims; administrative accountability; verification of requirements;
rules and procedures. (a)(1) An individual taxpayer who files a state income tax return and
is not claimed as a dependent of another taxpayer, a taxpayer subject to the corporate income
tax levied by Chapter 18 of Title 40, an Alabama S corporation as defined in Section 40-18-160,
or a Subchapter K entity as defined in Section 40-18-1 may claim a credit for a contribution

Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which

Section 36-27-24 Funds for assets of retirement system - Creation; composition; disposition
