Section 16-22-13 Cost-of-living adjustment for certain public education employees; miscellaneous pay provisions. (a) The state Budget Officer shall allocate to the State Board of Education, the boards of trustees of the public universities, the Board of Trustees of the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, the Board of Youth Services School District, the Board of Directors of the Alabama School of Fine Arts, and the Board of Trustees of the Alabama High School of Mathematics and Science for disbursement to the employees thereof funds based on the criteria established in this section. (a) During their term of office, members of the Madison County Board of Registrars and their dependents and the members of the Madison County Personnel Board and their dependents shall be eligible for coverage under the Madison County Health Insurance Plan. (a) As used in this section, the term health reimbursement arrangement or HRA means a plan qualifying as a health reimbursement arrangement as that term is defined under IRS Notice 2002-45 and a medical reimbursement plan under Sections 105 and 106 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
