Section 13A-11-90 Restrictions on firemarms by employers. (a) Except as provided in subdivision (b), a public or private employer may restrict or prohibit its employees, including those with a permit issued or recognized under Section 13A-11-75, from carrying firearms while on the employer's property or while engaged in the duties of the person's employment. (b) A public or private employer may not restrict or prohibit the transportation or storage of a lawfully possessed firearm or ammunition in an employee's privately owned motor vehicle while parked or operated in a public or private parking area if the employee satisfies all of the following: (1) The employee either: a. Has a valid concealed weapon permit; or b. If the weapon is any firearm legal for use for hunting in Alabama other than a pistol: i. The employee possesses a valid Alabama hunting license; ii. Section 36-27-5 Membership - Members of Board of Pardons and Paroles; Director of Physical Fitness Department. Section 45-37A-51.241 Board of health retired employees. (a) Employees of the board of health, upon termination of such employment after 10 years of actual service to the board of health, shall have the option to leave in the system fund all contributions made by such terminated employee and receive a monthly retirement benefit beginning at age 60, in the amount equal to two percent of such employee's monthly final average salary multiplied by his or her years of credited service. Section 45-37-123.104 Withdrawal and refund of employee contributions. The following provisions generally govern a member's withdrawal and refund of employee contributions under the plan. Any member who fails to make application for the amount of his or her employee contributions pursuant to this section within five years after his or her separation from the service of the county, except as otherwise provided herein or otherwise determined by the pension board, shall be deemed to have forfeited and donated such employee contributions to the trust fund pursuant to Section 45-37-123.83.
