Section 36-25-27 Penalties; enforcement; jurisdiction, venue, judicial review; limitations period. (a)(1) Except as otherwise provided, any person subject to this chapter who intentionally violates any provision of this chapter other than those for which a separate penalty is provided for in this section shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a Class B felony. (2) Any person subject to this chapter who violates any provision of this chapter other than those for which a separate penalty is provided for in this section shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. (3) Any person subject to this chapter who knowingly violates any disclosure requirement of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. Section 12-15-203 Transfer of cases from juvenile court. (a) A prosecutor, before a hearing on a delinquency petition on its merits and after notifying, verbally or in writing, the juvenile probation officer, may file a motion requesting the juvenile court judge to transfer a child for criminal prosecution to the circuit or district court, if the child was 14 or more years of age at the time of the conduct charged and is alleged to have committed an act which would constitute a criminal offense as defined by this code if committed by an adult. (a)(1) In Calhoun County, in any case in which court costs are assessed in a municipal court in the county, there shall be assessed and collected, in the same manner as other costs and charges are collected, an additional court cost in the amount of five dollars ($5) per case which shall be used for the operation, maintenance, upgrade, and support of computer or technology systems at the Calhoun County Courthouse and for the Calhoun County Justice Technology Fund.
