Section 45-37A-56.27 Board of directors of the authority. (a) The authority shall be governed
by a board of directors of three members, elected by the governing board of the Class 1 municipality.
Each member of the board shall be a qualified elector of the city. No officer of the state,
or of any county, city, or town therein shall, while holding such office, be eligible to serve
as a director. The directorships shall be numbered one, two, and three. The first term for
directorship one shall be for two years. The first term for directorship two shall be for
three years. The first term for directorship three shall be for four years. Irrespective of
when the first elections for the three directorships occur, the first terms provided for above,
shall commence on, or run from, the first day of the first calendar month next succeeding

Section 16-25-19 Administration. (a) The general administration and responsibility for the
proper operation of the retirement system and for making effective the provisions of this

Section 22-21-130 Definitions. For the purposes of this article, unless otherwise indicated,

Section 45-49-190 Legislative delegation. (a) The governing body of Mobile County, jointly
with the governing bodies of any incorporated municipalities within the county, may provide
office accommodations for the members of the state legislative delegation from the county
and also provide legislative assistants and an office manager to such legislative delegation.
The largest city in Mobile County shall provide the office space and the telephone for the
office, or at least the price thereof with the advice and consent of the delegation as to
its location. The other incorporated municipalities in the county shall each pay eight cents
per capita to cover other expenses of maintaining and operating such offices. The county shall
