Section 16-25-62 Appropriation; funding for benefits. (a) There is hereby appropriated from the Education Trust Fund to the Teachers' Retirement System of Alabama $13,878,629.00 for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1990. In addition to the appropriation provided herein any available amounts from the existing funds of the Teachers' Retirement System which may be expended without increasing the unfunded accrued liability of the Teachers' Retirement System, as determined by the system's actuary, or any other appropriation to the Teachers' Retirement System for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1990, may be allocated and expended by the Secretary-Treasurer to partially fund the benefits provided herein for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1990. Section 25-5-313 Schedule of maximum fees. Within 60 days from May 19, 1992, the Workers' Compensation Medical Services Board shall submit to the Governor an initial schedule of maximum fees for medical services covered by this article, which schedule shall become effective immediately upon submission to the Governor. The initial schedule of maximum fees shall be established by the board in the manner prescribed in this section.
