Section 22-14-4 State Radiation Control Agency; director and powers and duties thereof. (a)
The State Board of Health is hereby designated as the State Radiation Control Agency, hereinafter
referred to as the agency. (b) The State Health Officer shall be director of the agency, hereinafter
referred to as the director, who shall perform the functions vested in the agency pursuant
to the provisions of this article. (c) In accordance with the laws of the state, the agency
may employ, compensate and prescribe the powers and duties of such personnel as may be necessary

Section 11-52-32 Approval or disapproval of plat generally; legal effect of approval; powers
of planning commission as to subdivision zoning; approval or disapproval of plat in certain
cities. (a) Except where the development of a subdivision within the territorial jurisdiction
of a municipal planning commission is regulated by the county commission pursuant to Section
11-52-30, the municipal planning commission shall approve or disapprove a plat within 30 days

party states hereby create and establish a joint public entity known as the Interstate Commission
of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. (1) The commission is an instrumentality of the
