Section 16-25-10.2 Executive officers and employees of Alabama Council for School Administration and Supervision. (a) The governing body of the Alabama Council for School Administration and Supervision may, by resolution legally adopted to conform to the rules prescribed by the Board of Control of the Teachers' Retirement System, elect to have its executive officers and employees, from whatever source and in whatever manner paid, become eligible to participate in the Teachers' Retirement System of Alabama, subject to all rules, regulations and conditions thereof. Section 12-17-145 Officials covered by division; notification procedure; post-election contribution transfer; post-transfer credits and contributions. (a) Any clerk or register of the circuit court shall be subject to the terms of this division unless he or she notifies the Administrative Director of Courts in writing to the contrary 30 days subsequent to October 1, 1995. (a) The personnel board may adopt, establish, and maintain a deferred compensation plan or plans, except under Internal Revenue Code Section 403 (b), for the employees of the State of Alabama or any city, town, county, or public entity or corporation organized pursuant to the laws of this state.
