Section 36-25-29 Appropriations. (a) The Legislature shall appropriate such sums as it deems necessary to implement the provisions of and administer this chapter. (b) Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, and beginning with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2012, the annual appropriation to the State Ethics Commission in the State General Fund Appropriations Act shall not be less than one tenth of one percent of the total State General Fund amount appropriated in the State General Fund Appropriations Act unless a lower appropriation amount is expressly approved by two-thirds of the membership of the House of Representatives and two-thirds of the membership of the Senate. Section 16-13-231 Purposes and plan of apportionment. (a) In addition to all other appropriations and apportionments of public school money now provided by law and made available for public schools there shall be apportioned and paid to local boards of education from the Foundation Program Fund, the amounts to be determined as hereinafter provided and in accordance with regulations of the State Board of Education.
