Section 22-15A-3 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: (1) BAR AND LOUNGE. Any establishment which is primarily devoted to the serving of alcoholic beverages for consumption by patrons on the premises and in which the serving of food is only incidental to the consumption of beverages. Although a restaurant may contain a bar, the term "bar" shall not include the restaurant dining area. (2) CHILD CARE FACILITY. Any facility caring for children. (3) DEPARTMENT. (a) No public official or public employee shall use or cause to be used his or her official position or office to obtain personal gain for himself or herself, or family member of the public employee or family member of the public official, or any business with which the person is associated unless the use and gain are otherwise specifically authorized by law. (a) There is created the Cullman County Personnel Board, which shall be composed of three members appointed by members of the legislative delegation representing Cullman County.
