Section 27-2-3 Commissioner of Insurance - Oath; bond. Before entering upon the duties of his
office the commissioner shall take and subscribe to the oath prescribed by Article 16, Section
279 of the State Constitution and give bond in favor of the State of Alabama in the penal

Section 36-5-15 Failure of officer to give bond within prescribed time vacates office; certification
of failure to file bond to appointing power and filling of vacancy. If any officer required

Section 45-10-241 Establishment of office; duties; deputies; bond; compensation. (a) At the
expiration of the terms of office, or if a vacancy occurs in either the office of tax assessor
or the office of tax collector of Cherokee County before such date, then immediately upon
