Section 16-44-1 Governor authorized to enter into compact; form of compact. The Governor of the State of Alabama is hereby authorized to enter into the compact for education in the form substantially as follows: COMPACT FOR EDUCATION Article I. Purpose and Policy. A. Section 29-9-4 Education Trust Fund Budget Stabilization Fund; Education Trust Fund Advancement and Technology Fund. There is hereby created in the State Treasury an Education Trust Fund Budget Stabilization Fund and an Education Trust Fund Advancement and Technology Fund. Section 36-29-7 Payment of employer's contribution; coverage for dependents; changes to contributions; withholding of employee's contribution; State Employees' Insurance Fund.
