Section 45-6-241 Imposition of excise taxes; monthly report; failure to comply. (a) For the purposes of this section, the following terms shall have the respective meanings ascribed by this subsection. (1) COUNTY. Bullock County. (2) COMMISSION. The Bullock County Commission. Procedures for hearings and appeals under this article shall be made as herein provided and in accordance with such general rules and regulations as the regulatory authority may prescribe. (a) In Blount County, the district attorney for the Forty-first Judicial Circuit may appoint, with the concurrence of the county governing body, an investigator for the office who shall serve at the pleasure of the district attorney.
