Section 36-13-8 Acceptance of federal grants and advances; requiring state agencies to meet conditions imposed thereon. The Governor is hereby authorized and empowered to accept from the federal government or any agency or instrumentality thereof, in the name of and for the State of Alabama, grants and advances of funds and real or other personal property for any purpose of the state government not contrary to the Constitution of Alabama.
