Section 10A-8A-1.02 Definitions. Notwithstanding Section 10A-1-1.03, as used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms mean: (1) "Business" includes every trade, occupation, and profession for profit. (2) "Disqualified person" means any person who is not a qualified person. (3) "Distribution" except as otherwise provided in Section 10A-8A-4.09(f), means a transfer of money or other property from a partnership to another person on account of a transferable interest. (4) "Foreign limited liability partnership" means a foreign partnership whose partners have limited liability for the debts, obligations, or other liabilities of the foreign partnership under a provision similar to Section 10A-8A-3.06(c). (5) "Foreign partnership" means a partnership governed by the laws of a jurisdiction other than this state which would be a partnership if governed by the laws of this state. Section 35-12A-13 Rights and obligations of lienholders. If a lienholder makes a timely response to a notice of abandoned manufactured dwelling, as provided for in Section 35-12A-4, and so requests, a manufactured dwelling community owner shall not sell the manufactured dwelling for a period of 12 months. During this period, or until the manufactured dwelling is removed from the manufactured dwelling community owner's premises, the lienholder must make timely periodic payments of all reasonable and actual storage or rental fees which accrue after the expiration of the 30-day notice period and which shall be no greater than the monthly space rent last payable by the tenant. Section 8-21C-4 Manufacturer and dealer agreement - Termination, cancellation, etc. (a) A manufacturer or distributor, directly or through any authorized officer, agent, or employee, may terminate, cancel, or fail to renew a manufacturer and dealer agreement with or without cause. (a) A payment order received by the receiving bank is the authorized order of the person identified as sender if that person authorized the order or is otherwise bound by it under the law of agency.
