Section 40-18-14 Adjusted gross income of individuals. Section 24-8A-2 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ASSISTANCE ANIMAL. An animal, other than a service animal, that qualifies as a reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act, Public Law 90-284, 42 U.S.C. § 3601, et seq., or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Public Law 93-112, 29 U.S.C. § 794. (a) When a party elects to make a payment to a county or municipal agency, office, department, board, or commission by credit card and a surcharge or convenience fee is imposed, the payment of the surcharge or convenience fee shall not be refundable.
