when the possession remains with the husband or the husband and wife, must be taken as the

Section 35-4-54 Conveyances of personal property brought into state by tenants for life or
years. Whenever any person, having an estate for life or years in personal property removes

Section 40-15-7 Nonresident decedents. (a) Except as herein otherwise provided, all of the
provisions of this chapter shall be applicable to so much of the estates of nonresident decedents
as is subject to estate tax under the act of Congress in effect at the time of the death of

Section 35-4-33 Judgment for specific performance. A judgment for specific performance shall
operate as a deed to convey land or other property without any conveyance being executed by
the vendor. Such judgment, certified by the clerk or register, shall be recorded in the registry
