Section 11-88-80 Entire assessment due and payable upon default in payment of assessment or
installments thereof; advertisement and sale of property assessed for improvement generally.
If the property owner who has not elected to pay in installments fails to pay his assessment
within 30 days or, having elected to pay in installments, fails to pay the first installment
in 30 days from the date of the assessment or makes default in the payment of any annual installment
or the interest thereon, the whole of such assessment shall immediately become due and payable.
The officer designated by the authority to collect such assessments shall proceed to sell
the property against which the assessment is made to the highest bidder for cash, but he shall
first give notice by publication once a week for three consecutive weeks in some newspaper

Section 40-10-187 Tax lien certificate. (a) The tax collecting official shall make, execute,
and deliver a tax lien certificate to each purchaser at a tax lien sale or auction or to each
assignee thereafter and shall collect from the purchaser or assignee a fee of five dollars
($5) for each tax lien certificate. The tax lien certificate shall be in a form provided by

Section 27-37-1 Assets - Generally. In any determination of the financial condition of an insurer,
there shall be allowed as assets only such assets as are owned by the insurer and which consist

Section 11-98-5.2 911 Fund. (a) Effective October 1, 2013, the 911 Fund shall be created as
an insured interest-bearing account into which the 911 Board shall deposit all revenues derived
from the service charge levied on voice communications service providers under this chapter
and all prepaid wireless 911 charges received from the department. The revenues deposited
into the 911 Fund shall not be monies or property of the state and shall not be subject to
