Section 32-20-47 Electronic transmissions. Notwithstanding any requirement in this chapter
that a lien on a manufactured home shall be noted on the face of the certificate of title,
if there are one or more liens or encumbrances on the manufactured home, the department may
electronically transmit the lien to the first lienholder and notify the first lienholder of
any additional liens. Subsequent lien satisfactions may be electronically transmitted to the
department and shall include the name and address of the person satisfying the lien. If liens
and lien releases are processed electronically and the last lien is satisfied, a title will
be issued to the owner of the manufactured home in a manner as prescribed by the department.
A duly certified copy of the department's electronic record of the lien shall be admissible
in any civil, criminal, or administrative proceeding in this state as evidence of the existence

Section 32-20-20 Application; manufactured home permanently affixed; detachment; records. (a)
Except as provided in Section 32-20-21 or subsection (b), every owner of a manufactured home
which is in this state and for which no certificate of title has been issued by the department,
shall make application to a designated agent as herein defined for a certificate of title
to the manufactured home, or to each unit thereof if the manufactured home consists of more

Section 10A-8A-11.01 Application to existing relationships. (a) Beginning January 1, 2019,

Section 25-13-23 Compliance with chapter. The provisions of this chapter are not retroactive
unless otherwise stated, and equipment shall be required to comply with the applicable code
at the date of installation or within the period determined by the board for compliance with
ASME A17.3, whichever is more stringent. If upon the inspection of any device covered by this
chapter, the equipment is found to be in dangerous condition or there is an immediate hazard

Section 32-20-24 Acceptance of application where ownership of manufactured home in question.
If the department is not satisfied as to the ownership of the manufactured home or that there
are no undisclosed security interests in it, the department may accept the application but
shall do either of the following: (1) Withhold issuance of a certificate of title until the
applicant presents documents reasonably sufficient to satisfy the department as to the applicant's
ownership of the manufactured home and that there are no undisclosed security interests on

Section 32-7-11 Custody, disposition and return of security. Security deposited in compliance
