Section 11-62-8 Bonds and notes generally - Form, terms, denominations, etc.; execution, sale, delivery, redemption, etc.; security for payment of principal or interest; remedies upon default; liability of municipalities, board, etc., thereupon. (a) Any authority shall have power to issue from time to time its bonds and notes in such principal amount as its board shall determine to be necessary to provide sufficient funds for achieving any of its corporate purposes, including the payment of interest on any of its notes and bonds, the establishment of reserves to secure any such notes and bonds and all other expenditures of such authority incident to and necessary or convenient to carry out its corporate purposes and powers. (a) A person, as defined in Section 40-12-240, in possession of a motor vehicle that is considered an abandoned motor vehicle may sell the motor vehicle at a public auction. (a) The association has a lien on a unit for any assessment and any other moneys due the association for special assessments or services or charges, such as water or repairs, levied against that unit or fines imposed against its unit owner from the time the assessment or fine becomes due. (a)(1) In addition to all other charges, costs, taxes, or fees levied by law on bail bonds, additional fees as detailed in paragraph a. and paragraph b. shall be imposed on every bail bond in all courts of this state. The fee shall not be assessed in traffic cases, except for those serious traffic offenses enumerated in Title 32, Chapter 5A, Article 9. Where multiple charges arise out of the same incident, the bond fee pursuant to this section shall only be assessed on one charge.
