Section 34-11-15 Violations; penalties. (a) Any person who practices, offers to practice, or
holds himself or herself out as qualified to practice engineering or land surveying in this
state or uses in connection with his or her name or otherwise assumes, uses, or advertises

Section 32-1-4 Appearance upon arrest for misdemeanor. (a) Whenever any person is arrested
for a violation of any provision of this title punishable as a misdemeanor, the arresting
officer shall, unless otherwise provided in this section, take the name and address of such
person and the license number of his or her motor vehicle, and shall issue a summons or otherwise
notify him or her in writing or by an electronic traffic ticket or e-ticket to appear at a
time and place to be specified in such summons, notice, or e-ticket. An electronic traffic
ticket or e-ticket, for purposes of this chapter, is defined as a ticket that is generated

Section 34-9-19.1 Advertising - Dental referral service; requirements; prohibitions; penalties.
(a) For purposes of this section, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1)
ADVERTISEMENT. Information communicated in a manner designed to attract public attention to
a referral service, participating dentist, or a practice of dentistry. (2) DENTAL REFERRAL
SERVICE. A person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, agent, or employee of any
of the foregoing that engages in any business or service for profit that in whole or in part
includes the referral or recommendation of persons to a dentist for any form of dental care
or treatment. (3) DENTIST. Any person licensed to practice dentistry or any entity authorized
by law which is formed for the purpose of practicing dentistry. (4) FALSE, FRAUDULENT, MISLEADING,
OR DECEPTIVE STATEMENT. A statement or claim having one or more of the following characteristics:

Section 34-9-11 Examination of applicants; issuance of licenses. When application and accompanying
proof as are required herein are found satisfactory, the board shall notify the applicant
to appear for examination at a time and place to be fixed by the board, and each applicant
shall be examined and graded by number in lieu of name. All examinations provided for in this

Section 34-9-6 What constitutes practice of dentistry. Any person shall be deemed to be practicing

Section 8-19-8 Restraining orders. (a) Whenever the office of the Attorney General or the office
of the district attorney has reason to believe that any person is engaging in, has engaged
in or is about to engage in any act or practice declared to be unlawful by this chapter, the

Section 12-12-60 Electronic uniform non-traffic citation and complaint. (a)(1) Whenever any
person is arrested for a violation of any non-traffic offense enumerated in Rule 20, Appendix
B of the Alabama Rules of Judicial Administration, as adopted by the Supreme Court of Alabama,
