Section 34-9-12 Recording, reporting requirements. (a) Every person granted a license to practice
dentistry or dental hygiene in this state by the board, as herein provided, shall cause his
or her license certificate to be recorded in the office of the judge of probate of the county
in which he or she desires to practice before beginning the practice of dentistry or dental
hygiene in the county. Any person receiving a license from the board, whether or not intending
to immediately engage in the practice of dentistry or dental hygiene in this state, shall
cause his or her license certificate to be recorded in the office of the judge of probate
in one of the counties of this state within 60 days of the issuance of the license certificate.
(b) Every person issued a special purpose license to practice dentistry across state lines
shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the board, and all rules and regulations of the board,

Section 17-6-21 Contents; amendments; withdrawal of name. (a) The official ballots shall contain
the names of all candidates nominated by caucus, convention, mass meeting, primary election,
or other assembly of any political party or faction, or by petition of electors and certified
as provided in Section 17-9-3, but no person's name shall be printed upon the ballots who,
within the time period set forth in subsection (c), notifies the judge of probate in writing,
acknowledged before an officer authorized by law to take acknowledgments, that he or she will
not accept the nomination specified in the certificate of nomination or petition of electors.

Section 34-11-2 Practice of engineering and land surveying regulated. (a) A person in either
public or private capacity may not practice or offer to practice engineering or land surveying,

acts or proposes to act in a manner which will affect the rights, duties, or privileges of
the issuance of a license to an applicant or the license of a veterinarian, veterinary technician,
