Section 16-47-79 Repayment of loans. (a) Scholarships extended under subdivisions (1) and (3)
of subsection (a) of Section 16-47-78 shall be repaid following graduation either in cash
as is provided under subsection (b) or under the terms of a contract to serve in a needy area
in Alabama for a term to be specified by the board as provided in subsection (c). Any moneys
received from recipients in repayment of a scholarship loan under subsections (b) and (c)
shall upon receipt thereof be retained by the Board of Scholarship Awards to be used for funding
of future scholarships. The board shall establish a separate fund for these purposes. (b)
Scholarship loans to be repaid under this subsection shall be repaid to the Board of Dental
Scholarship Awards in full at an interest rate of six percent per annum from the date of graduation

Section 34-26-43.1 Fees; background checks; fingerprints; confidentiality. (a) The Board of
Examiners in Psychology shall charge each candidate for licensure as a psychologist or psychological
technician a fee sufficient to cover the entire actual costs of the examination of the applicant
as well as the cost of criminal history and civil background checks of the applicant. (b)
Applicants for licensure as a psychologist or psychological technician shall submit to a criminal
history background check. (c) The applicant shall provide fingerprints and shall execute a

Section 34-30-27 Certain persons exempt from examination. (a) Individuals licensed under Section
34-30-23 or Section 34-30-24 shall be exempt from any examination provided for in Section

Section 34-9-27 Employment, supervision, and practice of dental hygienists. Dental hygienists
shall work only under the direct supervision of a duly licensed dentist practicing in this
state. Dental hygienists may perform any duties allowed by rule or regulation of the board
and assist a licensed or permitted dentist in his or her practice. Any dental hygienist licensed

Section 34-9-7.2 Registration of a 501(c)(3) entity. A 501(c)(3) entity, as defined under Section
501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, that operates a dental clinic that provides dental
