Section 15-22-36.1 Certificate of Eligibility to Register to Vote. (a) Any other provision of law notwithstanding, any person, regardless of the date of his or her sentence, may apply to the Board of Pardons and Paroles for a Certificate of Eligibility to Register to Vote if all of the following requirements are met: (1) The person has lost his or her right to vote by reason of conviction in a state or federal court in any case except those listed in subsection (g). (2) The person has no criminal felony charges pending against him or her in any state or federal court. (3) The person has paid all fines, court costs, fees, and victim restitution ordered by the sentencing court at the time of sentencing on disqualifying cases. (4) Any of the following are true: a. The person has been released upon completion of sentence. b. The person has been pardoned. c. Section 25-2-18 Board of appeals - Promulgation, amendment, etc., of rules and regulations - Effective date; publication, etc. All rules and regulations and all amendments and repeals thereof by the board of appeals shall, unless otherwise prescribed by the board of appeals, take effect 30 days after the first publication thereof and after a certified copy thereof shall have been filed in the office of the Secretary of State. Section 34-14C-4 Licensure; inspections. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a home medical equipment services provider shall be licensed annually by the board before the provider may engage in the provision of home medical equipment services. In Alabama, when a single business entity provides home medical equipment services from more than one location within the state, each such location shall be licensed. A provider of home medical equipment services that has a principal place of business outside this state shall maintain at least one physical location within this state, each of which shall be licensed. Section 25-12-3 Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessels. There is created within the Department of Labor a Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessels, which shall be referred to in this chapter as the board. The board shall consist of nine members, the majority of whom shall have experience in design, construction, inspection, repair, or operation of boilers or pressure vessels.
