Section 34-12-12 Violations and penalties. Section 34-34A-14 License denial, revocation, etc.; hearing procedures, reinstatement. Section 22-7A-1 Physician agreements; dentist agreements. (a) For the purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) DENTIST. (a) Licenses under this chapter shall be granted to individuals upon the qualification and successful examination of the individual applicant and shall specify the name to whom it is issued. (a) In order to safeguard public welfare, health, and property and to promote public good, any person practicing or offering to practice landscape architecture, privately or in public service, shall be required to submit evidence that he or she is qualified to practice as hereinafter provided. Section 34-7B-7 Application for examination or licensure. (a) Any person who desires to engage in any of the practices regulated by the board pursuant to this chapter shall be a citizen of the United States or, if not a citizen of the United States, a person who is legally present in the United States with appropriate documentation from the federal government, and shall file with the board a written application for examination or licensure.
