Section 34-8B-11 Reciprocity agreements; nonresidential licenses; fees. (a) The board shall enter into reciprocal agreements with any state, agency, or other entity that licenses, certifies, or registers court reporters (NCRA or NVRA, or both) if the board finds that the state, agency, or other entity has substantially the same or more stringent requirements than the board. (b) The reciprocity agreement shall provide that the board shall license a person who is currently licensed, certified, or registered in another state or by another agency or other entity if that state, agency, or other entity agrees to license, certify, or register any licensees licensed pursuant to this chapter.
