Section 34-41-4 Board created; membership generally. (a) There is created the Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Geologists which shall administer and enforce this chapter. (b) The board shall consist of seven members appointed by the Governor from a list of nominees submitted by the board, or any entity designated by the board. Members of the board, except for the initial board, shall be licensed professional geologists. Whenever possible the membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. Section 34-23-90 Authority; composition. (a) The Alabama State Board of Pharmacy is vested with the authority to carry out the purposes of and enforce this chapter. The board shall consist of five members who are citizens of this state.
