(b) For purposes of this section, the term liquor shall have the same meaning as ascribed to the term in subdivision (15) of Section 28-3-1. (a) The governing body of the municipality may amend an ordinance relating to the self-help business improvement district upon the written request of a representative group of the owners of the nonexempt real property located within the geographical area of the district. Section 34-27-36 Disciplinary action - Generally. (a) The commission or its staff may on its own, or on the verified complaint in writing of any person, investigate the actions and records of a licensee. The commission may issue subpoenas and compel the testimony of witnesses and the production of records and documents during an investigation.
