Section 34-27C-5 Denial, probation, revocation, or suspension of license or certification. (a) The board may refuse to issue or renew a license or certification, place a licensee on probation, or suspend or revoke a license or certification for any violation of this chapter or rule of the board. (b) In the event of a denial, probation, revocation, or suspension of a license, an applicant or a licensee shall be notified of the action of the board. The applicant or licensee may request a hearing and appeal the decision of the board in accordance with rules of the board and the Administrative Procedure Act. The licensee shall cease to provide security services to clients immediately upon receipt of a final notice from the board of revocation or suspension of its license or certification.
