Section 30-4-17 Revocation of certain transferable interests in property upon divorce or annulment. (a) In this section, the following terms have the following meanings: (1) DISPOSITION OR APPOINTMENT OF PROPERTY. Includes a transfer of an item of property or any other benefit to a beneficiary designated in a governing instrument. (2) DIVORCE or ANNULMENT. Any divorce or annulment, or any dissolution or declaration of invalidity of a marriage, that would exclude the spouse as a surviving spouse within the meaning of Section 43-8-252. A decree of separation that does not terminate the status of husband and wife is not a divorce for purposes of this section. (3) DIVORCED INDIVIDUAL. An individual whose marriage has been terminated by divorce or annulment. (4) GOVERNING INSTRUMENT. Section 34-21-126 Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. (a) The party states hereby create and establish a joint public entity known as the Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. (1) The commission is an instrumentality of the party states. Section 8-35-2 Security freeze on credit report. (a) A consumer may place a security freeze on the consumer's credit report by making a request in writing by certified mail to a consumer credit reporting agency. No later than August 31, 2012, a consumer credit reporting agency shall make available to consumers an Internet based method of requesting a security freeze and a toll-free telephone number for consumers to use to place a security freeze, temporarily lift a security freeze, or completely remove a security freeze. A fiduciary, transferee, or beneficiary of the gross estate may maintain an action for declaratory judgment to have a court determine and enforce this chapter.
