Section 34-37-5 Deposit and disbursement of funds; bond of the executive director and
deputy director. (a) There is established a separate special revenue trust fund in the State
Treasury to be known as the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board Fund.
All receipts collected by the board under this chapter shall be deposited in this fund and
used only to carry out this chapter. The fund shall be disbursed only by warrant of the state
Comptroller upon the State Treasury upon itemized vouchers approved by the executive director
of the board or, in the absence of the executive director, by the deputy director. No funds
shall be withdrawn or expended except as budgeted and allotted according to Sections 41-4-80
to 41-4-96, inclusive, as amended, and only in amounts as stipulated in the general appropriation

Section 34-13-23 Officers; rulemaking authority; compensation; executive director; disposition
of funds. (a)(1) The board appointed under this chapter and each successor thereto is authorized
to select from its own membership a chair and to adopt and promulgate such rules and regulations
for the transaction of its business and for the betterment and promotion of the standards
of service and practice to be followed in the funeral service profession in the State of Alabama
as the board may deem expedient and consistent with the laws of this state and for the public

Section 34-29-65 Executive director; incapacitation of director; official bond. (a)
The board may employ an executive director, prescribe the duties, and set the salary of the
executive director. (b) In the event the director should become incapacitated or unable to
perform the duties of the position, the board may employ a person or persons to assume the
duties of the director for as long as the board deems necessary. (c) The director shall make
and file with the Secretary of State an official bond in an amount to be fixed by the board.

Section 34-21A-5 Officers, executive director, and administration of the board. (a)
At its annual organizational meeting, the board shall elect from its members a chair, vice-chair,
and a secretary/treasurer for a one-year term of office. No board member shall serve more

Section 9-17-104 Appointment, compensation and bond of administrator; administrator
and inspectors constituted peace officers; Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board Fund; excess balances
