Section 27-21A-3 Issuance of certificate of authority. (a)(1) Upon receipt of an application for issuance of a certificate of authority, the commissioner shall forthwith transmit copies of such application and accompanying documents to the State Health Officer. (2) The State Health Officer shall determine whether the applicant for a certificate of authority, with respect to health care services to be furnished: a. Has demonstrated the willingness and potential ability to assure that such health care services will be provided in a manner to assure both availability and accessibility of adequate personnel and facilities and in a manner enhancing availability, accessibility, and continuity of service; b. Section 45-20-150.02 Bingo games - Permits. (a) No qualified organization may conduct a bingo session unless the sheriff of the county issues a permit to the organization authorizing it to do so. The permit described in this article is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other business licenses which may be required by law, and no bingo session may be conducted until all required licenses have been obtained. A permit holder may hold only one permit and that permit is valid for only one location. A permit is not assignable nor transferable. (b) Any qualified organization desiring to obtain a permit to operate bingo sessions in a calendar year shall apply to the sheriff, on forms provided by that office, and shall pay an annual fee of one hundred dollars ($100). (a) The proceeds from the tax hereby authorized, less the actual cost of collection not to exceed five per centum shall be paid by the State Department of Revenue to the Dale County Commission, on a monthly basis.
